Our Love Story
One sunny Saturday in Ga‑Masemola, a small village in Limpopo, fate stepped in. Around 8 p.m., on my way to a house‑warming, I noticed a lady stranded with a punctured tyre on her white Polo Vivo. I stopped to help, fitting her spare wheel so she could continue safely. Afterwards, we exchanged numbers to check in on each other’s safe arrival. That simple act of kindness became the start of a journey neither of us expected. From a pothole on the road… to a story that led us here today.

Proposal
No one needed to kneel — it was all done in the true African traditional way. On a sunny Saturday, the 30th of November 2024 in Sandton, I woke up to the fresh scent of home and the sweet aroma of cookies baking in the oven. A quiet voice whispered to me, “What are you waiting for? It’s been a while — it’s time.”
Without hesitation, I told her to inform her uncles and parents that I would be sending my uncles, together with the Ramontja family, to propose in the traditional Pedi way. When the day arrived, our uncles carried out the process beautifully, without a single issue.
It was a moment steeped in culture, love, and respect — an unforgettable traditional Pedi proposal that marked the beginning of our journey together.
